Adam Green
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Adam brings a wealth of knowledge, insight, and calm reassurance to every client he helps. With nearly 25 years of experience in mortgage and protection advice he has helped thousands of clients in all types of situations like first time buyers, refinancing and BTL. Not only that, but he has mentored many new and seasoned advisers to hit their next goal and achieve their ambitions.
Based in Worcester with his wife and two exceptionally needy cats, he also has two grown-up children, despite clearly not looking old enough.
When he’s not guiding clients through their home-buying journey or navigating the ever-evolving mortgage market, you’ll find Adam enjoying great local food, gym sessions, holidays, and catching up with friends.
Adam co-founded Alegra Mortgage and Protection to create a supportive community of like-minded advisers who deliver solid, high-quality advice in an increasingly complex market. His mission? To blend the best of technology with personal, client-first service. As he puts it, “Even after all this time, nothing beats the feeling of helping someone save money or move into their new home.”
Lee Evans
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
With over 5 years of award-winning experience in mortgage and protection advice, Lee has built a reputation for clear, honest guidance and unwavering client support. Based in Gloucester, he lives with his partner and balances a busy work life with raising two young children and still finds time for the gym and his lifelong passion for drumming.
Lee co-founded Alegra Mortgage and Protection with a simple mission: to bring clarity, care, and consistency to people navigating life’s biggest financial decisions. His vision is to build a family-orientated network of advisers across the UK with professionals who not only understand the complexities of the market, but who genuinely care about the people they help. With a sharp focus on technology, he’s constantly looking at ways to streamline the adviser’s role and deliver better results for clients.

Garry Hughes
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Garry brings a global perspective to his role, having been born in Rhodesia and lived across Zimbabwe, South Africa, Israel, Greece, and now the UK. A natural explorer, he has travelled to over 35 countries and is driven by new experiences, cultures, and of course, discovering great food both at home and abroad. Since becoming an adviser during Covid, Garry has developed a real passion for helping clients secure their homes, particularly where others may see challenges, whether that’s adverse credit, visa status, or low deposits. He is committed to guiding clients every step of the way, from the first conversation through to the moment they receive their keys.

James Cooper
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
James brings both experience and personality to his role as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, supporting a wide range of clients from first-time buyers and shared ownership applicants to more complex cases including self-employed clients, adverse credit, and Buy-to-Let. He is known for making the complicated feel simple, the stressful feel manageable, and the process far less intimidating than many expect. Outside of work, James has a strong sense of adventure, having spent time in New Zealand exploring Lord of the Rings filming locations, alongside experiences like scuba diving, skiing, bungee jumping, and skydiving - all things that should get your adrenaline going, unlike your mortgage journey.

Tim Wragg
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
With over six years of experience in the mortgage industry, Tim has supported a wide range of clients - from first-time buyers taking their first step onto the property ladder to landlords with more complex Buy-to-Let requirements. He is passionate about turning what can often feel like an overwhelming process into something clear, simple, and easy to navigate, ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and at ease from start to finish. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the gym, training MMA, and unwinding with his partner and their dog, a balance that keeps him focused, grounded, and ready to help the next client on their journey.

Joanne Finnegan
Senior Administrator
Joanne brings a wealth of experience to Alegra, having built a long and varied career in Financial Services, starting as a building society cashier and later becoming an Independent Financial Adviser. Her knowledge and steady approach make her a valuable support to both clients and colleagues alike. Outside of work, Joanne enjoys travelling with her grown-up children, exploring the Derbyshire countryside with her dog (often accompanied by her reluctant husband), and pursuing her passion for scuba diving - spending as much time as possible underwater or planning her next adventure.
